Here are some of the projects that we are currently working on:

  • Redd Surveys
    • Redd surveys are completed in the fall – we look for where the brook trout are nesting in local streams
  • Poestenkill / Quackenkill Creek Restoration Area –
    • This project is intended to reduce streambank erosion and improve habitat at the confluence of the Quackenkill and the Poestenkill in the Hudson River watershed.
  • Quackenkill Streambank Stabilization
    • Is part of the above Restoration Project in conjunction with Rensselaer County Soil and Water
